Sik Drip Story
Streetwear for the Real Ones.
Sik Drip is a high-end streetwear label founded in Boston in 2004 by Dickie Skinz — director, cinematographer, actor, music producer, songwriter and the founder of Sik Pup Entertainment.
The brand applies the same standard used on set: intention, proportion, and finish. Every piece is designed to read clearly on camera and hold up in daily wear, with an emphasis on cut, cloth, and restraint rather than excess branding. It is streetwear for people who treat how they present themselves as part of the work.
Sik is the standard. Drip is the result.
The name sets the requirement. Sik is the standard. Drip is what meets it: a finished look that reads clearly from a distance and holds up under close inspection.
Built like a production.
Pre-production. Every piece starts with a reason to exist. Silhouettes are structured where the garment needs presence and easy where the body needs to move. Fabrics are chosen for hand, drape, and durability.
On set. Hardware, stitching, and finish are resolved at the detail level, because that is where quality is either present or absent. Branding stays secondary to the piece.
Final cut. Collections are developed in limited runs. Each drop is edited rather than expanded, so nothing ships that does not meet the standard.
Made for real use.
The reference points are production, performance, and New England weather: long days, cold air, and the walk from the car to the door. Pieces are made to photograph cleanly and wear past a single season. Sik Drip does not follow the cycle of the feed. It equips the wearer with clothing that is precise, durable, and composed.
The Founder
Dickie Skinz (Rich Skinner) founded Sik Pup Entertainment in 1997 and has spent nearly three decades working across music, film, and television. He has contributed to more than 100 films and network television shows, with credits including Netflix's Spenser Confidential, Showtime's Brotherhood, NBC's Medium, and CBS's Waterfront.
As a filmmaker he co-wrote and directed Hurricane Chasers, and his slate includes the scripted series A Swing That's Pure, animated films and series Fish Theory, Mother Mary, Wolves On The Harbor and Love From India. In music, he is a Recording Academy member and a Boston Music Award nominee for Hip Hop Producer of the Year, and he hasworked with Onyx, Cypress Hill, Wutang, Rich Cronin, Devon Lima, Sean Price and more. He also plays golf at a competitive level.
Years of framing a shot, finishing a track, and holding a standard under pressure shaped a clear point of view on clothing: it should be precise, durable, and composed. Based between Massachusetts, Los Angeles, and Mumbai, Skinz built Sik Drip as the wearable side of the same practice.
